She's worked with designers like Dolce & Gabana, Isseey Miyake, Marc Jacobs, Oscar de la Renta, Jean Gaultier, Alexander McQueen, & many more. She was one of the only Black women to be seen on the cover of the May 2007 issue of American Vogue. She tells Teen Vogue journalist Jane Keltner, "I want to go all the way. My goal is to be a household name, and when I do that, I want to help other girls become models, and maybe even launch a fashion line with my mom, like Beyoncé did with her mother. My mom has such a good eye, and it's always been a dream of hers. I'd love to be able to do that for her." Hey sunkissed girlz! Do you know Mavis Spencer? She's amazing and has some really cool accomplishments: she's a model, Miss Golden Globe, and the famous actress- Alfre Woodard’s daughter. Other than being the daughter of a wonderful actress, she got the chance to be in Zac Posen’s spring line for Target. How cool is that!? This beautiful girl has on the prettiest clothes for Zac Posen’s line including a knee length, sleeveless, floral print dress. As Miss Golden Globe, she gives out the Golden Globe Awards to the winners. Can you believe she's done all of this and she's only 18! We can’t wait to see what she does next!
